摘要:We investigate the so called quantitative thermoacoustic tomography process. According to the paper of Cox and Beard in 2009, assuming that the variations in temperature and pressure are weak and neglecting the nonlinear effects, we obtain that the temperature rise θ and the pressure perturbation p from the equilibrium steady state satisfy a strongly coupled system of partial differential equations. Let Θ be equal to the partial derivative of θ with respect to time. We obtain that Θ and p satisfy a strongly coupled hyperbolic-parabolic system. We consider Carleman estimates and applications to inverse problems for this coupled hyperbolic-parabolic system.
