摘要Generated Jacobian equations were originally introduced as an extension of Monge-Amp\`ere type equations in optimal transportation to embrace near field geometric optics. In this talk we present some of the basic theory, including the associated convexity theory of generating functions and recent work on the resultant classical solvability of the associated boundary value problems.


报告人简介:Neil S. Trudinger,国际著名数学家,1978年当选澳大利亚科学院院士,1997年当选英国皇家科学院院士。曾获澳大利亚数学会奖(第一位获奖者)、Hannan奖章、美国数学会Leroy P. Steele奖。曾担任澳大利亚国立大学数学科学院院长、数学分析及其应用中心主任等。他与D. Gilbarg的合著《Elliptic Partial Differential Equations of Second Order》已成为经典,Google学术显示该书至今被引用两万四千余次。
