摘要：We estimate the extremal length of a simple closed curve along the conformal grafting ray determined by a rational lamination. Furthermore, utilizing the  estimation formula of the extremal length, we calculate the endpoint of this conformal grafting ray on the Gardiner-Masur boundary. Finally, we obtain a formula of the limit distance between two conformal grafting rays with the Teichmüller metric. 

报告人简介：胡光明，南京邮电大学讲师，主要研究复分析领域中Teichmüller 空间与模空间的紧化及相关问题。近年来在Proc. Amer. Math. Soc., Acta Math. Sin. (Engl. Ser.), Ann. Fenn. Math. 等期刊发表学术论文15篇，主持国家青年基金一项。
